It is understood that all teams that meet/play at a business will pay $150 for the season (regardless if you use your business name or not) to be entered in the contest.  Your business will receive unlimited promotional mentions during every broadcast.  Any business that sponsors a category or the show, does not have to pay the $150 fee.

Here’s a quick run-down of how the Program works.  There are 17 different categories.  Each is worth a number of points equal to the week we are in.  We’ll ask a question and then play a song.  You have until the end of that song to call, text or Facebook message your answer to WUPY.  When the song is done, no more calls will be taken.  Remember if you are streaming, always account for the delay to get your answer in on time.

Only one answer per team is allowed.  Multiple answers might get your team disqualified.  If you disagree with one of our answers, you have until the following Tuesday to lodge a formal complaint.  The complaint must be in writing and can be mailed, faxed or emailed to WUPY.  The mailing address is P.O. Box 265, Ontonagon, MI  49953.  Faxed at 906-884-4985 or emailed to WUPY@jamadots.com.  Your complaint will be ruled on and written notification will be sent to you regarding the matter.  Remember – all decisions made by the staff & management are final.  Also remember that your answer might be recorded for future use.  All such recordings are the property of J&J Broadcasting and their use and application are at our discretion.

Point value is based upon the week of the Y-101 Northern Waters Casino  Tuesday Night Team Trivia.  Week # 1, 1 point question per category, Wk # 2, 2 points per question, Wk # 3, 3 points per question.  All the way up to Week # 12 where each question is worth 12 points.   The top 10 teams cash in on cash and prizes at the finals, Week #12,  which will be held on May 9, 2025 at the Northern Waters Casino Resort.
